Many of the females in India condemned what happened in Nagaland – Yes, I’m talking about the Dimapur Lynching act.
Now, I’m yet to understand why these women are condemning this act. Why I’m raising this question is mainly because of the following resaons:
1. Everytime when you ask the girls, ladies, and aunties of India – what punishment should a rapist be given – they say that he should be given to public, as govt may delay justice but public can give justice immediately. Now that’s what the public did in Nagaland – Instant justice to the rapist.
2. Everytime when you ask the girls, ladies, and aunties of India – what punishment should a rapist be given – they say he should be beaten in public and amongst the public…the Nagas did exactly…stripped him, made him walk in that state and made sure he was beaten to death.
3. Everytime when you ask the girls, ladies, and aunties of India – what punishment should a rapist be given – they say hang the rapist in public…The people of Nagaland did exactly….
Now when the Nagas did exactly what we always wanted, then why are we condemning this act….
No, we cannot deny that we never said all these things..we did…In addition, there are various videos released on youtube where women are giving such verdicts. I remember seeing one where the women gave their solution to the rapists after Mukesh Singh’s interview for the BBC Documentary….Here, check it out – http://indiaopines.com/indian-women-rapist-politics/
Still, if we think the act of the Nagas is highly condemnable, don’t you think its high time we should stop giving such statements? No wonder we are born hypocrites and act as per our convenience
If you keep sweets on the street, dogs will come and eat them said one Defence lawyer ML Sharma in Nirbhaya case.
“If you are fully covered, nobody will disrespect you or hurt you,” He said adding “Where is the question of rape?… Had she stayed home, this would never have happened and therefore she is responsible for what happened. Why should you put yourself in a situation where you can’t protect yourself? She gave the men an opportunity to misbehave with her.”
Sharma had stood by his statements claiming ‘no respectable woman gets raped.”
Another defence lawyer Singh was in the news for making this statement: “…if my daughter was having premarital sex and moving around at night with her boyfriend, I would have burnt her alive. I would not have let this situation happen. All parents should adopt such an attitude.”
All I want to say is –
Draupadi was following culture – she was completely covered, and didn’t give any opportunity to misbehave. Back then she didn’t even had any western influence, still she had to face vastra haran..So, your argument is totally baseless. Also, what about the 5 year olds who get raped?
Criminals are criminals. They do not spare any woman.. Defending the sick mentality of the criminal, is not only pathetic, but pitiful
A defance lawyer cannot utter nonsense against the modesty of a women who is suffering at the time or otherwise. Would he utter the same to his sister/wife/daughter/mother if one of them had been a part, instead of Nirbhaya?
Today, if you check on various social media platforms – 2 videos are trending widely. One is AIB kNOCKOUT where you’ll see all the comedians using profane, and outrageous words. While, other video is a girl’s response to Honey Singh’s usage of profane and outrageous words in his songs.
Now the same people who are terming the AIB Knockout as WOW, Hilarious and the BEST ROAST of a celeb ever is singing praises for this Girl who is opposing Honey Singh for using such words in his songs – Now isn’t it heights of hypocrisy? I mean at one side you are encouraging and enjoying those stuff and the other end you are criticizing the same thing..
